About Us
PHOTO OF ONE OF OUR RUNS We live on an acreage about 20 kms west of Gladstone.
Gladstone is in Central Queensland about 530 kms north of Brisbane.
In 1985 Guy wanted a Bull Terrier, I (Sharon) didn’t really want “one of those white ugly pig dogs”.
I soon learn’t different.But if we were to get one it had to be a bitch that I could show.As at that time I
had show horses. So we purchased our 1st Bull Terrier bitch in 1985, she was shown to her
Championship title. We were bitten by the bull terrier & showing bug. This was the start of KUPALA.
Since then we have bred 26 Australian Champions, bred & owned 2 R.O.M.s
Our kennel consists mainly of bitches, we usually only keep 2 to3 males. We often use stud dogs from
interstate, costly but needed.
Recently we Imported a stud dog from the U.K. , who is siring some nice puppies.
Our puppies are whelped in a granny flat specially set up with air conditioning & heating.They are
moved outside to puppy pens when they are about 5 weeks old.
We have managed to go to every Bi-ennial Trophy Show since 1989, which is held in a different state each year.
